« Chaque enfant qu’on enseigne est un homme qu’on gagne », disait Victor Hugo. L’éducation constitue le socle de tout développement durable et responsable car elle libère l’homme des chaînes de l’ignorance et lui inculque les valeurs morales dont il a besoin pour son épanouissement et celui de ses paires.
C’est dans cette perspective que ATI a décidé de s’impliquer dans le secteur de l’éducation, en menant diverses actions, pour accompagner les efforts du gouvernement qui s’emploie à faire de la gratuité de l’école un droit pour tous les enfants béninois. Les actions que nous menons se déclinent en quatre points :
1- L’aide à la scolarisation
2- Sensibiliser les populations des zones les plus reculées du Bénin sur l’importance de la scolarisation des enfants sans distinction de sexe
3-L’organisation de travaux dirigés périodiques dans plusieurs matières à l’intention des élèves des cours primaire et secondaire en situation difficile.
4-La promotion et l’enseignement des langues étrangères (anglais, espagnol, allemand)
ATI a pour objet de :
- Devenir une organisation incontournable dans la promotion des talents béninois et africains ;
- Appuyer les efforts du gouvernement dans le secteur de l’éducation à travers la promotion de l’excellence, la scolarisation des enfants et l’apprentissage des langues étrangères.
- Promouvoir le tourisme responsable pour accompagner le gouvernement dans sa politique de développement durable des communautés à la base.
- Contribuer à la réduction du taux de chômage au Bénin à travers l’insertion sociale des jeunes.
- Promouvoir la protection de l’environnement.
- Soutenir les organisations humanitaires internationales intervenant au Bénin, en Afrique et dans le monde à travers un appui linguistique bénévole.
Dans le cadre de ses activités d’assistance linguistique aux personnes et aux organisations internationales en mission au Bénin, ATI a eu l’occasion de collaborer avec l’ONG américaine Cure Management Services (CMS). Pendant une durée d’un mois, 1er-30 avril 2013, ATI a déployé un interprète et traducteur bilingue anglais-français et français-anglais qui a eu pour tâche d’accompagner la représentante de ladite institution, Mlle Hareg Sabe, dans le cadre de sa mission au près des autorités publiques en charge de la santé, de certaines structures sanitaires aussi bien publiques que privées ainsi qu’au près de plusieurs dirigeants d’institutions médicales et paramédicales et autres personnes ressources.
Pendant sa mission, l’agent d’ATI a eu en charge l‘interprétation instantanée anglais-français et français-anglais au cours des entretiens et interviews menées par Mlle Hareg Sabe, la traduction et l’élaboration en fichiers électroniques des documents et informations médicaux de toutes sortes, la rédaction et l’élaboration en fichiers électroniques des procès verbaux et rapports de réunion et de mission, tout ceci dans deux langues de travail d’ATI que sont le français et l’anglais. Il convient également de signaler que ATI utilise cinq autres langues de travail dont nommément l’allemand, l’espagnol, l’arabe, le portugais et le chinois.
Fort donc du succès qu’a connu cette mission, une première à son actif, grâce au dynamisme et au professionnalisme avérés de ses agents et surtout à la grande satisfaction de la représentante de CMS, et dans le souci de toujours répondre à toutes les sollicitations futures, ATI saisit cette tribune pour adresser une invitation spéciale à tous les partenaires qui se sentiraient intéressés par ses services. ATI vous offre sa jeunesse et son dynamisme et vous rassure de son professionnalisme. Nous sommes le partenaire idéal.

Bernard P. H. Vlakpa is the current Chairman of Afrik Talents- Impact (ATI). Social entrepreneur, business leader and perfect polyglot, he speaks fluently French, English, Spanish and a little Chinese. Featuring exceptional human qualities and undeniable leadership skills, Bernard worked, years ago, in another non-profit called TREND Spotters. Proactive and dynamic, Bernard is the current CEO of SEEDS Investments, a swiss-based cooperative society.
Carole E. Kannankin, Vice-President, is a young Beninese woman committed to humanitarian causes. Former coordinator of the NGO TITIGWETI ENGLISH CLUB at the University of Abomey-Calavi, Carole is a discreet but proactive person. She made a name for herself through dedication and a rigorous work ethic. She is fluent in English and French.
Christian K. A. Amoussou, Secretary General, is very active in another organization called AGENCE AFRICAINE POUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT INTERNATIONAL (AADI). He is also member of a non-profit called “Les Protecteurs de l’Environnement”, involved in fighting for the protection of the West African coast against oil spills. Trilingual (French - English - German), Christian is the current Protocol of the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
Huguette N. Zollin, General Treasurer, holds a BA in English. She is very active in the press, where she works as a journalist and in some theater companies of the square. Honest and exemplary, Huguette gained experience in holding funds during the multiple positions she has held in various associations and organizations. She is perfectly bilingual (English and French).
Modest J-P. K. Daga, in charge of Communications, holds a BA in Spanish and English. Trilingual, he teaches English and Spanish in secondary schools.
Gillos I. G. de Souza, Organizer, is member and representatives of the American Foundation Rhyme-N-Reason in Benin, an organization that educates young students in schools and colleges on the importance of conveying conscious messages through their Hip Hop music. Freelance translator, Gillos speaks fluently English, Spanish and French.

As an ardent defender of alternative tourism, ATI intends to promote modes of travel which have a minimal impact on the natural and cultural environment. As a tourist, you will have the opportunity to discover new cultures, natural landscapes and enthusiastic communities and by supporting them in their development endeavors, you will help them improve their living conditions.
ATI aims to develop:

- sustainable tourism
- solidarity tourism
- ecotourism
ATI members are young polyglot volunteers who can give linguistic assistance to humanitarian organizations within the framework of their mission trips in Benin, Africa and all over the world. Our language panel includes French, English, Spanish, German, Arabic and Chinese (Mandarin).
We offer linguistic assistance to anyone on visit in Benin as a single, a couple, or in a group for a touristic stay, a research project, business endeavor, or any other purpose. We are on-site workers, and have a good command of Benin’s many local languages. What else do you need to make your stay a memorable one?

ATI’s mission is to promote and unite all young budding talents from Benin and throughout Africa, who are willing to use their skills and abilities to serve and impact the socio-economic development of grassroots communities.
OUR GOALS:
ATI aims to:
- Become a resource for the promotion of talents in Benin and across Africa;
- Support government’s efforts in education through the promotion of excellence, children's schooling and learning of foreign languages;
- Promote alternative tourism to accompany the government in its policy of sustainable development of grassroots communities;
- Contribute to the alleviation of unemployment rate in Benin through the social integration of the young people;
- Promote the protection of the environment;
- Support international humanitarian organizations’ missions in Benin, Africa and around the world through linguistic assistance.
In an ever-changing world, where man plays a crucial role in the socioeconomic development of his environment, it is man once again, paradoxically, who is at the heart of all concerns surrounding the social inequalities that we notice around the world.
These inequalities, nurtured over the passing decades by national policies which have not matched the perceived with the real needs of target communities, have trapped the rural communities in miserable conditions that continue to worsen as time goes by.
It’s high time we took action! To this end, we must re-examine the current policies of development and give priority to communities’ empowerment. We can achieve this only through the implementation of sustainable development projects to aid the aforesaid communities. This is the approach we have adopted as an organization, made up mostly of young people, who are committed to contributing to the prosperity of communities in Benin and across Africa by placing their talents at the service of development.
